The Journey of a Bubble

We had a lot of fun outside today with a whole heap of bubble wands! We used this hands-on experience as a way exploring descriptive language when we got back in the classroom. We brainstormed our ideas about what the bubbles looked like and how they "acted". This is what we said:

  • My bubble exploded in the sky
  • Bubbles are slimy and sticky
  • The bubble wafted through the sky popping in the atmosphere
  • Bubbles are carefree, drifting away in the wind
  • Small bubbles, big bubbles pop, pop, pop
We had hoped to complete writing about "the journey of a bubble", but ran out of time with the Pukeko Team art rotation in the middle block. Be sure to keep an eye out next week for our bubble writing to be displayed both in the classroom and on our blog.

    1. That's a good question Elisa. Now that we have finished our gala robots, I will have to have a think about a fun outdoor activity for us to do next :)
